This walk continues on from a previous walk (Round About Barnham) which explored the countryside and villages north and east of Barnham. This walk takes us in the opposite direction south and west along the course of the old Portsmouth - Arundel canal, towards Lidsey, Bognor Regis golf course, bordering Flansham and return. The walk is predominantly across a flat landscape. The countryside, during winter months is frequently flooded but at other times is home to arable farming. The area is criss crossed with Barnham and Lidsey rifes draining the area and if we are lucky, home to a variety of birds.
