Overview

BOOKING REQUESTED

A circular  walk passing Stormy Point and Castle Rock with great views on a clear day. The route crosses Macclesfield Road into Windmill Wood towards Artists Lane and Nether Alderley, using lanes and good field paths. After lunch , the return route also uses country lanes and field tracks. Risk assessment: About 4/5 stiles on the route. Care should be taken on the lanes which do have some vehicle traffic and when crossing the main road. Could be mud in the fields after rain but generally good underfoot. Some sections of gradual uphill but mainly level.
