We are the West Kent Walking Group. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
We meet at Sevenoaks Station in the front car park. There are loo's, corner shops and the main car park is behind the station.
We set off north via Bradbourne Lakes Park then skirt the lakes of Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve and onto Otford Solar System to join the chalk stream in the Darent Valley at Otford Mill. We continue past Castle Fields Lavender Farm to Lullingstone Country Park via the picturesque village of Shoreham. Stopping for lunch in the park where there are outside picnic tables in a meadow, loo's and a cafe. We then continue by the picturesque Darent to Lullingstone Castle and World Gardens and then complete a loop around the golf course through meadows and woods of the country park. We then pass Lullingstone Roman Villa and follow the Darent under the Eynsford Viaduct past fields of livestock to the ford at Eynsford.
At this point the station is a short walk away but if you wish to socialise before going to the station to get the train back to Sevenoaks there is a cafe at the ford and three pubs in Eynsford
Meet outside Sevenoaks Train Station in the front car park TN13 1DW
Finish at Eynsford Train Station. Trains go directly back to Sevenoaks every half hour.
