A circular walk through woods, fields and along the edge of Runnymede (NT) to the Magna Carta Memorial. We then walk and along the river Thames where we will stop to take a break before climbing the hill back to the Air Forces Memorial. Please bring a drink and snack. The hill back is fairly steep, bring a walking pole if you have one. This is a joint walk with Slough U3A
Meet in the Air Forces Memorial Car Park in Coopers Hill Lane. Englefield Green. Pay and Display machines have been installed. Parking is free for up to 3 hours then £2.80 per day. The number 8 bus from Slough to Staines stops on Priest Hill at the end of Coopers Hill Lane which is a 5-minute walk from the starting point. There are public toilets adjacent to the car park.
