Overview

Join us on a woodland valley walk along the River Seven.

From Sinnington, we'll take the path on the W side of the river though Bishop Hagg Wood to Appleton-le-Moors, before doubling back along Howlgate Head Wood to cross the river at Appleton Mill.  We continue our walk to Cropton, where we can explore the ruined castle and take a drink at the pub/brewery.

After lunch, we'll return via Cropton Banks Wood along the E side of the river.
