Overview

From Leek follow the A523 for approximately 4 miles and turn left onto Reacliffe Road. After a short distance take the first left at Ryecroft Gate and go along the track to the car park. (This may also be known as the Rudyard Lake North car park?)

We follow good paths along Rudyaard then gain some height with great views of the surrounding countryside. There are some stiles. Walking poles may be useful.
