We are the Greater Manchester & High Peak Area Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Area Sunday Short Walk - distance between 4 - 6 miles
Note - Due to the Remembrance Service at the War Memorial opposite Sale Metrolink Stop, Pat, Leader, will meet the party on the platform of the tram arriving from the city centre at Sale Metrolink Stop at 11.00. This is to avoid the crowd gathered for the Memorial Service on the main road outside the Metrolink stop.

Tram ticket - Return to Sale
Walk route - A tour of Worthington Park, Priory Gardens, Sale Water Park, River Mersey, Sale Tram Stop. The walk is mostly flat with little ascent. Public toilets en route.
Expected time back at Sale Metrolink - no later than 3.00pm
Walking boots or shoes and clothing (waterproof jacket in wet weather conditions) essential.
Please bring a light lunch and non-alcoholic drinks.
