From Butley corner, we join the Sandlings Path before turning into Staverton Park and visiting the historic Thicks, where some of the trees have been standing for over 400 years. We then move on to Butley and Rendlesham Forest visiting the site of the alleged UFO site. We then rejoin the Sandlings Path back to the start.
Butley Corner car park on the left hand side of the B1084. The post code will take you way past the car park also ignore the suggested what3words instead us use: regard.ruby.joked. If you reach the Rendlesham Forest turn off you have gone too far. Turn round and you will find the car park on the right after 600 yards.
