This is a 6.0 mile circular walk. The initial leg takes us northeastwards to Kelshall Lane before we turn southwards for Notley Green, Beckfield Farm and Roe Green. The route gives a clear impression of the scale and progress of the Sandon rewilding project. The walk was well received when we led it last winter and requests were made to repeat it in the summer months.
We will probably go after the walk to Mill End Plants in Rushden for tea/coffee and cake.
Meet at the car park slot on the Green opposite All Saints Church. Additional parking spaces at the nearby Village Hall and on nearby roads.
