This circular walk from Gupshill Manor traces a route linking the riverside, a battlefield and Saxon churches. Starting at the historic coaching inn, the route passes the Severn Ham meadows and follows the Avon.
A short detour leads to Deerhurst, home to Odda’s Chapel (built 1056) and St Mary’s Priory Church, two remarkable Anglo-Saxon survivors.
The return follows quiet lanes and woods, offering glimpses of Gloucestershire’s historic past.
Morning drinks stop & optional pub lunch.
