Sevenoaks Ramblers organises a variety of walks on Wednesdays and Sundays in the wonderful countryside around Sevenoaks. Come and join us!
Walk route as follows Bough Beech Reservoir then a walk to Charcott where there will be a picnic lunch & a pub stop for drinks only. Then a walk back to Sevenoaks Weald where there is the option of another pub stop for drinks only.
Update 17th December 2023. Please note start time of walk has been changed to (9.00 hrs) which I have changed for 4 reasons.
1. Ground conditions, there was a lot of mud on the walk recee which will mean a slower walking pace.
2. Pub stop at about 5.8 miles is going to be busy on that day & I have been asked by the pub staff to arrive at the pub for 12.00 hrs.
3. One style with missing footplates which I have reported to KCC PROW but I am not expecting to be resolved by the time I will lead this walk. In the same area a field of crops where the footpath has not been re-instated which I have also reported to KCC PROW.
4. A couple of narrow posts near to just before Bore Place athough it should be possible to navigate around this via the electric fences in that area.
