We are the Somer Valley Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This walk is on the Estate of Longleat and is relatively level with no stiles through a variety of woods, pastureland and arable land. We walk on stony tracks in places but could be muddy when walking across pastureland.
ADDITIONAL TRAVEL INFORMATION:
Sue Robinson has confirmed the road through Frome is closed at Wallbridge.
It's the road running from Asda, under the railway bridge towards the A362.
Best divert is probably the A36 to the roundabout south of Warminster then onto the A359 and into Shearwater.
