Overview

An 8.5 mile walk that takes us along the Ashby Canal to Market Bosworth then follows the Leicestershire Round to Sutton Cheney and back through the Bosworth Battlefield site.

Please bring food and drink with you. There is an option to stop at a cafe towards the end of the route, but there will be no opportunity to buy food/drink at or before the lunch stop.

Parking is at Shenton Station Car Park, which costs £5.00 for the day.  Please note the post code is “nearest” not actual. The station is a little further down Shenton Lane, shortly before the canal crossing. 

There are toilets at Shenton Station and near our lunch stop.
