Dwynwen
The walk starts from a layby near Maesnewydd farm on the A487 about 1 mile before Talybont going towards the Machynlleth direction. If using the T2 bus it leaves stand 4 in Aber at 1335 arriving at Maesnewydd about 1355 ask the driver to stop there & ring bell as you approach. Buses leave there on the hour every hour back to Aber. The walk follows the road for a short length before joining the trackbed of the old Hafan tramway across a field towards the back road to Talybont. Return to start point is alongside the A487 which is occasionally screened from the road. Refreshments are available in Pennau Crafts in Rhydypennau afterwards. There is a short section where it may be a little damp & muddy & may need a little extra care.
