Overview

This is a figure of eight walk.  It is a short walk of 4 miles, all flat but varied and interesting.  We start right from the centre of Galston Cross.  The walk covers  riverside, bridle paths and lochs. There is a small section of road walking.  Lunch can be arranged afterwards in the local cafe for those who wish.

The walk will start from centre of Galston Cross. It is possible to reach right to the starting point by bus which run every 15 minutes. (No. 1 Priestland) Cars should park behind the church. From there you can walk through the church grounds to the start point.
