We are the West Wiltshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A pretty walk from Chitterne, across the Plain to Tilshead. Lovely views and hopefully lots of wild flowers as well. There may be interesting birds as well for any twitchers among us. This is a linear walk so we will car share from Tilshead to the start point in Chitterne, walking back to Tilshead.
Refreshment Details - We will stop for a coffee up on the Downs. A few of us will probably head to the nearest pub for lunch or a drink when we finish the walk.

From Tilshead garage take the Chitterne Road. Half a mile up that road is a tarmacked area off to the right of the road. There is a strip of woodland on the left. If you get past this woodland you have missed the start point.
