Unusually for Pocklington well behaved and socialised dogs on leads are allowed on this walk.

Starting at the village school the walk will follow Coppergate and then Nethergate before crossing The Crooks, (where there may be sheep), and then on to Back Carr Lane. Joining the quiet road, Hords Land, and then Out Gates. We will walk along the road to Lowthorpe. Following the slightly busier Mill Lane to St Martin's Church we will then join a farm track until it becomes Lowthorpe Lane and back into the village.

The walk will be relatively easy but not a leisurely stroll as it will be nice to get back before dark !

Walking poles will not be essential. There will be a little mud in places. If accompanied by a dog please bring plenty of 'pick-up' bags - there are bins at the end of the walk.

On-street parking.
