Overview

This is an interesting walk from Towneley Park to the Singing Ringing Tree panopticon.  There are some rough and muddy areas on the outward leg but much of the route is on good paths.  There are some inclines but nothing too strenuous!  Those who wish can visit the Hall afterwards.  The charge is £5 to go in which provides admission for a 12 month period.  The Hall reopened in July 2025 after substantial refurbishment and the building and collection are worth viewing.  There is also a really good art gallery.
