Overview

From Smokies Way car park we follow the Biddulph Valley Way southwards through Newpool and the just beyond Brown Lees we cut east across to Mill Hayes. Then we take field paths and road to Braddocks Hay. From here we take tracks back past the leisure centre and then work our way back to the car park.

This is a Pub walk – we gather at 9:45am on Smokies car park where a member of staff from the Staffordshire Knot will take orders from those who are staying for lunch. Walkers can either leave their cars in Smokies carpark and walk up to the Staffordshire Knott for lunch or drive up to the Knot but there is limited parking at the pub.
