A classic Chilterns winter walk including a mixture of woodlands, open countryside and pretty villages. We will wander through the Warburg Nature Reserve, skirt past the edge of Nettlebed, admire the snowdrops at Swyncombe before returning back to our start point in Maidensgrove common via Cookley Green. The terrain goes up and down throughout, rewarding us with a variety of scenic views.
Please bring packed lunch and plenty to drink.
Toilets available at the Warburg visitor centre ~1 mile after the start of the walk.
It will be wet and muddy in parts so gaiters, and walking boots essential. Bring poles if you use them.
Dogs on short leads welcome.
We encourage car sharing but for personal safety reasons cannot arrange this for you.
