Overview

Today’s rural walk gives us fantastic views of the Berkshire Downs and beautiful woodlands starting in the quaint village of Hampstead Norreys. Starting at the village hall, we’ll head towards the wooded area towards Eling Farm, which we then pass to walk through another wooded area and under the M4. From here, we’ll then head towards a stream as well as several Copses and Granary Kennels. After walking under the M4 again, we’ll stop off in Yattendon for lunch, which has an optional pub stop at The Royal Oak.

After lunch, we’ll head towards Haw Farm before heading towards Beechwood Farm to take us back into Hampstead Norreys to finish the walk. For those who want to go to the pub at this point, we’ll be stopping off at The White Hart for a pint, which is roughly a 10-minute walk from the village hall.
