Lovely circular walk starting at a small car park in Solva (free). A mixture of coastal and harbour views, woodlands and streams. A couple of wooden bridges and plenty of small kissing gates. Quite hilly in places but worth it for the views! Occasionally a little stretch will be on very quiet country lanes.
We will walk along the harbour and the coast to the pretty cove of Porthmynawyd, before calling in at Pointz Castle ice cream parlour for an ice cream (or alternative refreshment) for those that would like one.
We will then walk back to Solva inland through the small hamlet of Lochvane and back along the hillside on the other side of Solva.
Sorry, unsuitable for dogs.
On the recce (Saturday 7th June) it was only a little bit muddy in places, but not too bad. Most of the paths have been cut back, so they're not too overgrown.
Toilets in Solva main car park and also at Pointz Castle ice cream parlour
