This meandering ramble uses the National Trust permitted paths to explore the pastures and green lanes of the Southwood estate to visit Newgale and Nolton Haven ( for wc stops). After rain expect some local mud in the hollows and stream banks. There is some country road walking from Nolton Haven and Maidenhall. The route can shortened by a mile if required however it doubles the amount of road walking and this shorter route would be self guided for the last mile or so.
We will stop for a morning hot drink stop and lunch, please bring drinks and packed lunch.
No dogs please, the pasture is grazed all year round.
The starting point is not far from the village of Roch and is off the main road and bus route between Haverfordwest and St David’s.
Suggested after ramble drinks venue is the Victoria Inn Roch
