Overview

In the morning the walk is through Saltcoats Park and Compass Gardens and along the sea wall, then follows part of the disused Maldon/Woodham Ferrers railway line to the viewpoint at St Stephens Church. Lunch is at The Norton pub, Cold Norton. In the afternoon the walk crosses Three Rivers Golf course to Stow Maries and through the vineyards again with lovely views over the Crouch Valley.
