Overview

This is a leisurely, circular walk, starting and finishing at Southease Youth Hostel. We pass through Southease, follow the Southdowns Way, then downhill towards Rodmell . We walk through the village and back along the river towards the Youth Hostel, where there is a cafe where hungry walkers may want to have lunch. There is some uphill walking, one short slippery decent and some autumnal mud however there are beautiful views and we pass through two very pretty villages. We will stop for a coffee break, so please bring a drink and a snack Please dress for the weather, wear sturdy boots. Sticks are recommended, it may be quite slippery underfoot.
