This is a leisurely, circular walk, starting and finishing at Southease Youth Hostel. We pass through Southease, follow the Southdowns Way, then downhill towards Rodmell . We walk through the village and back along the river towards the Youth Hostel, where there is a cafe where hungry walkers may want to have lunch. There is some uphill walking, one short slippery decent and some autumnal mud however there are beautiful views and we pass through two very pretty villages. We will stop for a coffee break, so please bring a drink and a snack Please dress for the weather, wear sturdy boots. Sticks are recommended, it may be quite slippery underfoot.
A train leaves Brighton Station at 9.36am arriving at Southease at 10.06 from where it is a short walk to the starting point at the Youth Hostel. There is off street parking at the Youth Hostel.
Assistance dogs only on this walk please.
