We are Herts Weekend Walkers, HWW for Short . We are aimed at people who are normally working during the week and can usually only find time to get outside and enjoy a walk at the weekend.

A circular 6.5m walk, starting at the Three Horseshoes Public House in Spellbrook Lane East. We cross the river Stort into Essex and pass through Little Hallingbury, Great Hallingbury and around the heath at Woodside Green. We will pass over and under the M11 before returning to the river Stort, passing the treatment centre! and around the edges of Rushy Mead Nature Reserve. The final part is following the flowing Stort. Everyone is welcome back into the public house afterwards.
There is no need to pre-book or contact the leader in advance. If already a Ramblers member, please bring your Ramblers card (or membership details on the app) as we submit a register to Ramblers before we start the walk. Totally new members are allowed to come on up to three walks before joining.
We will meet in the car park of The Three Horshoes, Spellbrook Lane East, Spellbrook, Bishop's Stortford CM22 7SE The pub are happy for us to use the car park and facilities.
