Overview

This is a circular walk of 9 miles, a mixture of road, field and woodland walking. There are 5 stiles along the way. We will walk out to Barlings Abbey,onto Apley via the Viking way and Foxhall wood. Then onto College wood and back to Stainfield picking up the Viking way and going through Foxhall wood once again.The woods are part of the Lincolnshire Limewoods- the largest concentration of small leaved lime in the UK. Fairly flat and easy walking all the way.
