A 9 mile walk moderate walk starting from Staunton Harold Reservoir Carpark (National Trust Carpark, £6 all day for Non Members, pay with coins or by phone). Please comment if you are happy to car share. We will ramble to Calke Abbey and then via Dimminsdale nature reserve back via fields to Calke Abbey. From here we will head to Ticknall and then back to Staunton Harold Reservoir.
The walk will start promptly at 10:30am. Please wear appropriate walking footwear and bring a packed lunch and water with you, as there will be no opportunity to purchase lunch during the walk.
Please park at Staunton Harold Reservoir Car Park. The are toilets at the car park and at Ticknall which we pass through during the afternoon.
Park at Staunton Harold Reservoir - National TRust car park by cafe accessed via Calke Road. £6 parking all day (free for National Trust members). Meet by the cafe.
