A last minute pop-up walk to fill a gap in the calendar and a ‘Lazy Sunday Afternoon Morning’. Based upon a walk in a Roger Jones’ book, here is his blurb. ‘The walk is an easy half day’s ramble with no steep climbs. It passes through open, arable fields and gives some fine views towards Salisbury Plain. Interest is added at the half-way stage at Stourton Water, a large pond fed by a tributary of the Biss Brook and a haven for wildlife’. We will stop there for a break. Bring snack.
Please note: the Finish Time is an estimate and may vary.
Booking is essential. Please TEXT the walk leader to book a place by the end of this coming Friday, 7th June.
