Overview

This is a circular walk from the Steeple Morden Village Hall to the Green at Litlington.  The outward leg is South to Gatley End, following the edge of Cheney Water to its source springs hidden behind the trees.  We follow Ashwell Street, along the remains of a Roman Road, to the outskirts of Litlington.

The return leg is more or less Westwards past the ammunition store for the WWII airfield and crossing the Cheney at Brook End.
