Farnham & District Ramblers offers an all-year-round programme of walks in the beautiful Surrey Hills, North East Hampshire, and South Downs National Park.
A walk from Stockbridge to the pond, then over Hankley Common to pick up the Greensand Way. We then make our way to Tilford Common to join the footpath alongside The River Wey, returning via Tilford Green and back to the cars. There are some gentle undulations and one short, steep ascent to cope with and if it doesn't stop raining by then we can expect mud on some short sections of the walk!
There is a possible refreshments stop just 200 metres before the finish of the walk, so if it is a nice day we could call in at the Barley Mow. Why not bring a sandwich and enjoy a picnic with your drink as well, if you have the time. Those who have time constraints can take the short, safe walk back to the cars along Mollies Ride. Dogs on leads most welcome.
