Overview

To honour Jane Austen’s passing some 208 years ago (18/07/1817), this will be a pleasant walk in the steps of Jane Austen from Chawton Village to Farringdon.  We will be walking through some beautiful countryside.  There are a few hilly sections on the walk and some busy road crossings.  There may be some muddy tracks if we have had recent wet weather.
