This is a short winter walk on a mixture of paths, some which are very muddy.
Also there is pavement walking.
This is a circular walk from the market town of Strathaven. It heads out along the road and then down across fields to cross the Avon Water before visiting a ruined mill and the Spectacle E'e Waterfall which after leads us into Sandford.
Walk return to Strathaven is mainly on pavement.
Local walk grade C+
Arranged to go to The Strathaven Hotel for coffee/mince pies at end of walk.
The path going to the falls is narrow and slippy with overgrown tree roots and fallen leaves. Strongly advise walking poles for this section of the walk.
There is also 2 stiles to cross.
