Overview

We will meet at the Alfrick and Lulsley Community Shop car park in the village of Alfrick in Worcestershire. The walk, about 10 miles long, goes through countryside and over the Suckley Hills, cutting across Old Storridge Common and returning via a wooded area with orchards and vineyards called the Norrest. There is plenty of up and down, about 1700 feet of ascent in total, it is a fairly strenuous walk, so make sure you are happy with that. It's also a very pretty walk, going through woods and fields under the shadow of the Malverns, with some lovely views. There is some road walking, and there will be stiles.
