Walsall Group of Ramblers has been around since 1992 and in that time we've introduced many people to the joys and benefits of walking with the Ramblers
Ray (Sandwell)
A scenic walk along Warwickshire`s Centenary Way, starting from the Way's start at Upper Quinton to the beautiful village of Ilmington and back via Warwickshire's highest point. From the highest point we drop down past The National Trust's Hidcote Manor Gardens. From there onto the village of Mickleton. After we pass through Mickleton with views of the Meon Hills we head back to our start point.
We leave the meeting point in Walsall promptly at 08:30am. The start time is the time the actual walk is due to start.
We regret we cannot allow dogs other than assistance dogs on weekend Walsall Group walks.
Walkers should check on www.sandwellramblers.org.uk that the walk has not been cancelled before leaving home.
Personal medication, e.g. asthma inhalers and angina sprays, must be carried by the walkers themselves.
All walkers should carry an ICE card or a contact number in case of emergency.
Booking is not necessary for this walk.
York's Bridge on the B4154 between Pelsall and the A5 Turf Island will be closed on the date of this walk.
Walkers will need a packed lunch.
