Leaving Swainby we head out across the fields to Arncliffe Wood, through the woods we climb up to meet the Cleveland Way. We follow the Cleveland way over Scarth Wood Moor to Scugdale. From there we head round Whorl Hill before heading back to Swainby via Whorlton Castle 🏰
🪧 Meet at the bus shelter on Emerson Close, Swainby, DL6 3EL
🅿️ On-street parking on High Street, Church Lane and around the village – please park considerately
🚻 Public toilets at the start of the walk
🐶 Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times
🥪 You will need to bring a packed lunch
🥾 This walk can be muddy in places, so wear appropriate boots
