Overview

From Llangynidr we use the Mon - Brec. Canal to the Usk Valley Walk, along to the tranquil waters of the Tal y Bont reservoir (built in 1930's to provide water to the population of Newport). Then we walk on an upper path, alongside the reservoir, enabling us to see fabulous views of the rounded summits in the area. Picking up the Beacon's Way, we then return to Llangynidr.
