We are the East Berkshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

We will leave Taplow and walk through the fields to reach Hunts Wood, very pleasant woodland surrounding a golf course. Following Boundary Lane we loop back to Taplow and take a footpath to the Saxon burial mound in the grounds of Taplow Court. Our path then takes us downhill, over the Jubilee River, through Taplow Riverside park and on to the Thames Path. Our return to Taplow takes us through fields and along country tracks and footpaths. Though muddy in part, this is a relatively easy walk with no stiles.
We will stop for our traditional banana break at roughly half way.
A table has been booked for lunch for our group at the Oak & Saw in Taplow village. All are welcome to join us. Lunch choices need to be pre-ordered through the leader in the morning, before we set off.

Please park in the Village Centre Car Park, signposted off Rectory Road, Taplow. It is tucked away behind the Village Hall and Village Green. Please meet in the Oak & Saw Car Park on Rectory Road.
