Starting from Tewin lower Green, we head north to Burnham Green and
onto Bulls Green. Continuing along Back Lane to Bramfeild wood from
here we return via Queens Hoo Hall. Built in 1560 - 70 believed to
have been used by Queen Elizabeth 1 as a hunting lodge, given its
close proximity to Hatfield House. The Hoo family were related to Anne
Boleyn. We continue back to Tewin via Bramfield Park Wood and
The nearby Tewin Stores and Cafe has seating inside or outside in the Courtyard and serves a wide selection of teas and coffees. Cooked breakfasts are available in the mornings along with a selection of freshly prepared rolls and sandwiches, as well as hot sausage rolls & pasties baked daily. Food is also available to take away.
