This stage through Wandsworth sees many bridges. We pass Wandsworth Bridge, Battersea Bridge, Albert Bridge, Chelsea Bridge and finally Vauxhall Bridge. There are toilets in Battersea Park. Bring a drink and packed lunch.

The walk starts from Putney railway station. It is a 10 minute walk to Putney Bridge. If travelling from Windsor catch the 09:52 train, Datchet 09.55, Staines 10.06 to arrive at Putney at 10.34, From Martins Heron catch the 09:33 train to connect with the Windsor train at Staines. Buy a return to Vauxhall.
