Overview

From Teddington Lock we follow the south bank towards Richmond. We will have a refreshment break at Ham House. This is now a National Trust House, bring NT cards to gain free entry. After leaving Ham House we pass Petersham Meadows and on to Richmond. After Richmond Lock the towpath is closed because a section of the towpath has collapsed into the river, around Kew Gardens.  We then have a lengthy diversion via Isleworth, Syon House and Brentford to Kew Bridge. Bring a packed lunch and drink. There are toilets at Syon House Garden Centre.
