Overview

It's half a mile back to the Thames in Goring before we set off on this next short section. This is a section where we detour from the river up a hill around Coombe Park, before we descend into Whitchurch-on-Thames and a rare toll bridge over the Thames into Pangbourne. Pedestrians are free to cross the bridge. It's a short walk to Pangbourne station for the journey home. Bring a packed lunch and drink.
