Thaxted to Saffron Walden

This is a point to point walk of 8.5 miles. We will begin in Thaxted and end in Saffron Walden at the Wetherspoons pub (The Temeraire). Buses leave hourly to Thaxted from SW high street, the stop is next to the pub. 

We will meet in Margaret Street Car Park in Thaxted. The walk starts on a long stretch of country lane, then cuts across fields. The walking is gentle and pleasant. The last part is more urban in character but avoids busier roads.
