Thorpe on the Hill and Tunman Wood

We will start our walk at the Whisby Nature Park car park (parking charges apply). Leaving the nature park, we pass through Thorpe on the Hill and make our way along field edge paths with good views across the countryside (weather permitting) to Tunman Wood. After a short loop through Tunman Wood we will return along farm tracks and roadside pavements. Walkers might like to explore Whisby Nature Park at their own pace after the walk.

Expect muddy conditions during wet weather. No stiles. Mostly flat terrain with a gentle incline on the return section. 

There will be one refreshment stop, so bring your flask or drinks bottle and snacks if needed. There is a cafe at Whisby Nature Park and outdoor seating if you prefer to bring a packed lunch. Toilets at the start and end of the walk only.
