This is an urban walk for lovers of our beautiful city. Starting at London Bridge station we will walk through the City of London looking at the Monument to the Great Fire , passing Christopher Wren's city churches and St Paul's cathedral, also the Guildhall, the Bank of England and some Inns of Court. We will finish back at London Bridge station.
The City is usually reasonably quiet on a Sunday, but we will find cafes to have a refreshment stop.
The walk is about 3.5 miles but the pace will be slow as we will be looking at the sights so I suggest wearing warm layers.
We will be walking in streets and lanes so hopefully no mud!
The walk is from a book ' In and Around London Walks ' pathfinder guide so I can’t give a website link.
