Join me to explore the attractive countryside around the villages of Thurlaston and Draycote. The walk includes part of the former Leamington Spa to Rugby railway line and a stretch of Draycote Water. We may also get to see some alpaca families !
The terrain mostly involves good tracks, quiet lanes and gently undulating fields. Some sections will be muddy if there has been rain and there’s a slightly watery, potentially slippery section over old wooden steps and railway sleepers. There are a handful of stiles (decent), a golf course crossing and a sturdy but narrow open footbridge over a stream.
For any queries about the walk please contact the walk leader via the "Get in touch about this walk" email link.
• Wear suitable clothing and footwear for the conditions – if in doubt, ask the walk leader
• Bring ample food and water, depending on the length of the walk
• If you feel unwell, or need to slow down or stop, let the walk leader or back marker know
