Overview

A varied walk on mainly sandy paths and public by-ways with village, heathlands, woodland and fine views from the top of Crooksbury Hill  Some undulations with one climb to the top of Crooksbury Hill (and steep down).  No stiles but expect some large puddles and mud  (usually passable on edges.  Poles boots and long trousers advised.

From Guildford travel south on the A3 to the junction north of Milford. Then take the B3001 west through the village of Elstead, passing the Donkey Pub and turning left where signposted to Tilford - turn left again into the village - over the bridge and immediately left again where the carpark is on the left
