Timsbury is on a mini-plateau so the walk is hilly in places but with all round views of the countryside below, particularly south, west and north. After a climb up The Sleight, we continue across fields and down quiet lanes. There is a short section on a busy B road with no pavement, and there are a couple of stiles on the way. Farmborough, an attractive village with the Conygre Brook flowing down the centre of the main street, is on the circular route. Then it is back across pasture land and up Lippiatt Lane into Timsbury.
Suggest suitable footwear and poles. We will have a short coffee stop and, depending on the weather, a short lunch stop, The 'The Seven Stars' pub in Timsbury is where we can have refreshments at the end of the walk.
