Overview

The walk will start at the car park in Ashton Court (£3 for 5 hours' parking). It descends to Bower Ashton then over the railway to the towpath beside the River Avon. The walk along the towpath goes under the suspension bridge (remember to duck). We leave the towpath to ascend into Leigh Woods on well-marked trails emerging at the top of Nightingale Valley. Roads lead to Ashton Court, we'll go through the deer park to return to the car park.
