Overview

The walk takes us to Whalley for lunch before we continue to Clitheroe. The walk is flat, mostly across fields and partially following the route that monks took on their way to Whalley Abbey. We will pass the abbey and the impressive Whalley Viaduct with the walk finishing at Holmes Mill in Clitheroe. For those traveling to Lango by train, there will be ample time to explore Clitheroe before returning on the train towards Bolton
